Solar Fest was a wonderful day. Thanks to everyone and their hard work. This one of the pieces. They are now installed in the school. Thanks to Mr. Eaves and Mr. Mizzi for helping attach them to the wall.

may 6tiles and technique

Today was a fun, busy day. One class at a time came to the art room to work with Mr. Birch. Each student used a yellow glaze to highlight selected areas of the tile. We used a dry brush and dabbing technique.
We thank the parents who helped, Mr. Birch for all his work, and the staff of EKES for their cooperation in this project. The pieces will be shown on June 10th with the dedication of our solar panels,and installed in the school that afternoon.

1Z makes art papers

Today we painted art papers to use next week in our art. The colors were inspired by the art by Rachel Isadora in "The Ugly Duckling" .
